Are Games Taking Up More Space on Your Hard Drive?

Do you find more and more of your hard drive space being taken up with the latest games. The space needed for a game on your hard drive used to be in hundreds of megabytes, but gradually, as games have evolved and become more exciting, the space needed has leapfrogged into Gigabytes. The latest game my son aquired needed an enormous 5Gb of hard drive space. When I think that my first PC, all those years ago, had a gigantic 12Gb hard drive, this game wouldn t have left much room for an operating system. That s why all the free downloadable games available on the web are such an ideal alternative choice. The advantages are numerous, the first, and probably the most important for many of us, is that they are free, at no expense!! You can also try them out and, if you find you don t like them, remove them and try another until you find one that you like. This helps to keep your hard drive free of any unwanted programmes while still enjoying some new games. Plus you don t have to worry about getting bored with playing the same old game as there are an endless supply of new ones coming through.
